Designed and manufactured by Harrop to OEM standards our TVS2300 Supercharger upgrade is now available for the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) AJ133 Supercharged V8 engine family, factory fitted with an Eaton TVS1900 supercharger system.
This TVS2300 Supercharger upgrade for the AJ133 V8 is a direct replacement for the OEM TVS1900 supercharger system and requires no engine recalibration when using a an 80mm supercharger pulley. Smaller supercharger pulleys are available for customers increasing power and torque through custom engine recalibration and ancillary upgrades.
The Harrop TVS2300 also features an upgraded solid coupler eliminating the factory OEM spring coupler which is prone to fatigue and failure.

VelocityAP has been committed for over a decade to pushing the performance envelope for Jaguar & Land Rover supercharged vehicles. Much of the R&D and learning we have accomplished has been unseen, with lots of dead ends and pivots. However much of our investment, such as our proprietary datalogging system and comprehensive testing program has paid dividends. Our location in Canada’s only desert environment has allowed us to test and log critical parameters in extreme temperatures in excess of 43 degrees C/110 Fahrenheit. Several key ancillary items and areas were identified which required upgrading and altering in order to produce significant power gains and to do so reliably and effectively.
Cooling:
On supercharged applications, effective management of intake air temperatures is critical. Our team found that it was not possible to effectively manage intake air temperatures without supplemental cooling. Our full Carbon Fiber intake system not only dramatically increases cross sectional volume, but also includes provisions for water-methanol injection ports to reduce charged air temperatures.
Our intake is supplemented with a full water methanol injection system, with all the necessary fittings, tank, pump & check valves. This system proved its worth during testing, generating repeatable numbers back to back to back.
Fuel Supply:
While the V6 supercharged engines share a fuel system with the 5.0 V8, and have ample headroom for additional flow, the V8 bumps into fuel supply issues with the 2300. Pre-Flexray vehicles will be supplied with upgraded fuel pump drivers to increase fuel flow.
Supercharger Drive:
The OEM tensioner layout leaves a lot to be desired. Even completely unmodified vehicles can see belt slippage, premature belt wear, and belts contacting the tensioner body. Increasing the supercharger drive rate or size exacerbates this problem, and is critical to achieving the performance targets for the TVS 2300. Our kit includes an upgraded belt tensioner, to allow the extra load transmission.
